Christmas Special ----------------- Code by Lance Squire, December 2008 This documentation by Adam Trionfo, April 22, 2009 On December 23, 2008, Lance Squire left this message on the Bally Alley discussion group, "If we've all been very good, and a little lucky, Santa may leave us something under the tree Christmas Eve. :)" On Christmas Eve, Lance then left this message, "Santa has left something in the Files area! Enjoy!" The "something" turned out to be a demo that Lance had written. The demo is a house surrounded by trees with Santa on his sleigh that is pulled through the air by three reindeer. Over the next few days Lance made some improvements to the demo. All versions of the demo are included in this master archive: 1) Christmas Special 01 (Original Version).zip Christmas Special 1 - December 24, 2008 Open Christmas Day ! :) Includes a binary version of the demo (for use with an emulator) and source code. 2) Christmas Special 02 (First Update).zip Christmas Special 2 - December 25, 2008 Small updates thanks to Richard Degler. Includes a binary version of the demo (for use with an emulator) and source code. 3) Christmas Special 03 (Second Update).zip Christmas Special 3 - December 25, 2008 Deer animation improved (Keyed off Y position rather than X). Includes a binary version of the demo (for use with an emulator) and source code. 4) Christmas Special 04 (Fixed for Real Hardware).zip Christmas Special (Fixed) - December 30, 2008 Code, .bin and .wav of Christmas Special fixed to run on REAL hardware!!! :) Includes a binary version (for use with an emulator or for an EPROM to use on real hardware), a WAV (for use on real hardware with a RAM expansion unit-- not need to be burned to an EPROM) and the source code.
